**FIRST INSTALL JAVA ON YOUR SYSTEM..FIND OUT HOW HERE**
Installing Java on Debian
Here is how to install LimeWire after installing Java
1) download the source http://www.limewire.com/LimeWireSoftOther
wget http://www.limewire.com/LimeWireSoftOther
2) get unzip program
apt-get install unzip
3) unzip the program
unzip ./LimeWireOther.zip
4) change into the newly extracted directory
cd ./LimeWire/
5) run the java application
sh runLime.sh
This runs the setup program for KDE Go through the questions one by one. I didn't elect to scan my entire hard drive for media since i know i don't have any. Plus i'm running as root right now and i don't want to cause security problems.
When your done limewire will be setup and ready to rock.
