How to connect to a Windows Remote Desktop with Linux using rdesktop

So you still need to log on to those stupid windows remote desktops but you dont want to use windowsXP on your laptop. You can connect to the windows computer using rdesktop. I tried it it works like a champ. Here is how to install


apt-get install rdesktop
rdesktop

Thats it! Can you believe how easy this is. Try it, how needs windows! not me.

Its is that easy Bro! It works very well, with cut/paste functionality as well. Its great! Yes its as if you were just running windows remote desktop from a windows machine. It linux KDE connecting to a windows remote desktop or terminal server. Its one of the Killer Apps in my mind.
