SSH from your Blackberry phone with MidSSH Opensource

Communications | Debian Support

I have a nexttel blackberry phone and from time to time, i am in need of an SSH session but i don't have a computer in front of me. Thats where my blackberry phone uses MidpSSH to get online.

1) open the web browser on your blackberryssh http://xk72.com/wap

2) at first i was getting page could not be found error. i went into my browser options and change my web browser emulation from blackberry to internet explorer. After that it worked.

3) don't just download the first version that you see. scroll down till you find the blackberry build.

4) set up your connections and your good to go!

Free of charge i might add, since its open source.

PocketPuTTY

I am soon to be the owner of a treo 700w and was curious about an ssh client for WM5...when I stumbled upon PocketPuTTY.
Check it out if you have a handheld running WM, it could be a most valuable app for a computer tech away from the computer.
