hi i have a makita bmr100w jobsite radio my frend gave it to me because he left the trade but when i plug in the power cord it turn on and i can flick through the radio channel and everything but there is no sound and i noticed when he used to use it a backlight which was blue used to turn on but no just the actual display it is faulty or do u have to set it up or what?
