How to burn ISO files to CD
Submitted by admin on Tue, 2006-05-16 10:53. Communications | Office / BusinessI found this really great site http://isorecorder.alexfeinman.com/isorecorder.htm
Basically,
1) Download the correct version for your OS.
2) Install the small footprint program
3) right click on the ISO file and choose open with ISO RECORDER
4) a simple windows like interface comes up with a start button, press it.
5) BAM! you got a burned CD.
A killer app with a very small footprint. It didn't even put anything under my start menu or any icons. When its done burning, it closes and goes away freeing up your memory as a program should.
How to Map a printer using logon scripts (visual basic method)
Submitted by admin on Tue, 2005-10-25 14:58. Communications | Office / BusinessReciently, i wanted to try and be cool by writing logon script to add a printer to a computer. Thinking oh i'll just use the net use \\devicename command in the logon script and everything will work great. Well no, it doesn't quite work that way. Sure the printer will be added to the system, but it will not show up under the printers control panel in the system and you can only print to in while in a DOS program... In fact, the command is very confusing because you cant even tell if its doing anything unless you go to the command prompt and type 'net view' command. Basically not very helpful at all. So i did a little research, and alas, i have found a better way... Use the VBS scripting method to add the printer.
